As an entrepreneur and active member of the business community, Brian Kerr believes 91 has a greater impact on the region than ever before.
Businesses look to for training and workforce development, and really listens to the community, understands the communitys needs, and puts things in place to keep our talent local, Kerr said.
Thats why he chose to serve on the Foundation. His work on the foundation to help more of the regions residents attend college will only create new opportunities for our community and economy, he said.
Serving the community has long been an important part of Kerrs life. His civic contributions include serving in many capacities in the region, including Chair of the Knox Regional Development Alliance, Past Chair of the Elizabethtown Police Foundation, Secretary of the Independent Suppliers Group Board of Directors, Campbellsville University Advancement Board, among others.
Kerr established his own business in 2006 with the purchase of Bean Publishing and T&W Office Products in Radcliff. Kerr Workplace Solutions has grown significantly, acquiring three additional dealers in Campbellsville, Hopkinsville and Louisville.
He and his wife, Tabitha, live in Elizabethtown and have four children.
