Service is important to Carrie Ann Pride.
“I just like to give back in some capacity,” she said. “91¸£ÀûÉç is important to the community, and I want to make sure everyone is aware of what they can do for students.”
Pride would like to use her time on the Foundation board to focus on expanding opportunity. She’d like to reach out to at-risk, underserved communities to help them have better knowledge of available educational opportunities and expand their career choices.
Pride is community news coordinator for The 91¸£ÀûÉç Standard in Bardstown and serves on the paper’s editorial board. She also serves on the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce’s Diversity Committee and Bardstown Main Street Committee. She lives in Bardstown and has one son and seven grandchildren.
