James Jeffries

Facilities and Maintenance Manager, Altec Industries

James Jeffries serves as Facilities and Maintenance Manager at Altec Industries in Elizabethtown. Since joining Altec in 2019, he has held leadership roles including Plant Manager and Supplier Quality Engineer. Previously, he was General Manager of the Hardin County Water District for 12 years and spent 14 years at AGC Automotive in engineering and leadership positions.

An alumnus, James attended from 1987 to 1989, served as Student Government Association President, and was later recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus. James went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of 91¸£ÀûÉç and an MBA from Western 91¸£ÀûÉç University.

"I understand firsthand the impact affordable, accessible education can have on students and the community," Jeffries said. "I™m committed to supporting student success and helping future generations have the chance to reach their educational and career goals through my work on the foundation board."

James and his wife, Kelli, have been married since 1992 and have three adult children. He is dedicated to supporting educational opportunities that strengthen the local workforce and help students achieve their goals.
