She has spent her career in nonprofit leadership and is driven to help students overcome barriers to their education. As a doctoral student, she identifies with the challenges  students face as they balance academic, professional, and family commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEducation was always an expectation in my family, but it takes a network of support for students to be successful in college. I\u2019ve been blessed with relationships and resources that allowed me to grow, and I want our students to have the same opportunities no matter where they start in life,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While she is proud to have helped generous donors change lives through numerous initiatives, those directly impacting students have been the most meaningful to her. Stith cites \u2019s Student Emergency Fund, growth in scholarships, and Metallica Scholars partnership as some of her proudest accomplishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also invests time in her community through multiple volunteer roles, including as a board member for CASA of the Heartland and United Way of 91¸£ÀûÉç.
