{"id":180,"date":"2022-04-28T19:33:36","date_gmt":"2022-04-28T19:33:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ectc.kctcsstage.wpengine.com\/?post_type=board_members&#038;p=180"},"modified":"2022-05-02T20:36:30","modified_gmt":"2022-05-02T20:36:30","slug":"linda-howard","status":"publish","type":"board_members","link":"https:\/\/ectcforbetterlives.com\/board_members\/linda-howard\/","title":{"rendered":"Linda Howard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>Linda Howard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>Retired Math Professor, <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Having taught math at the college for nearly 40 years, Linda Howard understands the positive impact the 91福利社 Foundation can have on students and the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Foundation is important in that it will provide support and the necessary resources to assist the college in meeting the ever-changing needs of the region,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Howard began her career at  in 1981 teaching math, and retired in 2020 after serving as a Professor of Mathematics from 2012-2020. During her time teaching, she received numerous accolades from her peers and students, such as teaching awards from Western 91福利社 University (2013),  Student Government Association (2012, 1992, 1988, 1983), University of 91福利社 Alumni Association (1992), and North Central Education Foundation (1989). She has held many leadership roles at the college, including as Division Chair from 1993-2001 and 2004-2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJoining the  Foundation board will allow me to be a part of an organization that will improve our community and the lives of people who live in our community,\u201d Howard said. \u201cThe goal is always to make lives better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Howard continues her work at  tutoring and supporting students.
